Delphi Automotive is one of the largest automotive suppliers in the world with approximately 150.000 employees and subsidiaries in over 20 countries.  The company, which has got its headquarter in the United Kingdom, is primarily involved in sensor technology and electronics for motor vehicles and their networking (e.g. autonomous driving, various safety systems, etc.). Back in 2015, a car packed with Delphi technology autonomously traversed the U.S. and arrived in New York (starting in San Francisco) after traveling over 5.000 kilometers. APTIV (until Dec. 2017 Delphi Connection Systems Austria) is part of the Delphi Group and produces connectors and control components using injection molding at its site in Mattighofen, Lower Austria. Its core competencies include above all LSR (Liquid Silicon Rubber) injection molding.
